Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women, a powerful initiative aims to raise both awareness and funds to support initiatives that combat violence against women and girls.
Zonta Club of Victoria is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the fight against violence and their ongoing commitment to empowering women in the community. We organized a charity walkathon on 25 November 2023. The event was a resounding success, raising approximately HK$1 million.
*The advocacy campaign “Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women” was launched by Zonta International in 2012. Since its launch, the campaign has been dedicated to raising awareness about the global epidemic of women’s right violations and taking impactful advocacy actions to combat violence against women and gender inequality. During the annual 16 Days of Activism from 25 Nov to 10 Dec, we took further advocacy actions to support this cause.
