Key For Future

Key for Future” Empowering Initiatives

Teen’s Key

The project was aimed at empowering marginalized young women aged 13 to 25, including underprivileged mothers, pregnant teens, and sex workers, aiming to enhance their self-esteem, social skills, and expand their comfort zones while building a strong peer support network.

Peer-to-Peer Coaching Sessions played a critical role by enhancing participants’ awareness and appreciation of their own roles, fostering a positive outlook through sharing and debriefing. Additionally, community outreach allowed these women to share their stories with gender studies institutions, highlighting the societal impact of women’s roles.

A key component was a 3-day, 2-night outdoor camping trip, planned and organized by the participants themselves. This experiential learning opportunity not only boosted their coping skills but also deepened their understanding of personal strengths and growth areas. It also facilitated the formation of new friendships and expanded their social support networks.

Overall, these initiatives empowered the participants by fostering self-awareness, enhancing social skills, and creating a sense of community belonging.
