Fellowship Activities
The fellowship committee organized a series of well-attended events for the club, thanks to the support and participation of our Zontian sisters.
Chinese New Year 2024
Lunar New Year is an excellent time to get together. Thanks for the kind arrangement of Helen Wong, we had our CNY party at Catty & Tale Private Kitchen which served delicious Chinese cuisine. It was more than just a wine and dine gathering; our sisters enjoyed the gourmet food shopping as well. The vibrant energy of our members led us to a wonderful Year of the Dragon.
Christmas Lunch Party 2023
Christmas is always the time to celebrate. Our X’mas party took place at the Town on 16 December 2023. The joyful gathering was entertained with mahjong, karaoke, happy hour and dinner. Our sisters were singing loudly, spreading the Christmas cheer.
Biennial Walkathon Fundraising
Our club’s biennial walkathon fundraising event took place on 25 November 2023, followed by a fellowship dinner at the Police Officers’ Club. After the walk and plank activities, we indulged ourselves with a scrumptious meal and shared laughter.
Floral Lamp Workshop
On 3 September 2023, our members participated in the ‘Floral Lamp workshop’ organized by our social service partner, the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. We were amazed by the beauty of the delicate and fragile dry flowers. We paid careful attention while handling them and experienced a tranquil moment while making the lamps. The artistic Zontian sisters took home their creations after the class, and we had a wonderful time.
Chinese New Year Dinner 2023
In celebration of the Year of the Rabbit, we had a New Year dinner gathering at the Police Officer’s Club on 13 January 2023, with the kind support of Florence and Shirley. We were honored to have the Friends of Victoria join our Chinese New Year reunion dinner that evening. We shared sweet old memories and caught up with each other. Additionally, Juliana Lam, an award-winning entrepreneur, presented the protection of Innotier products during the night, providing us with valuable insights.
Christmas Lunch Party 2022
Thanks to Helen Chen’s arrangement, we had a Christmas lunch party and karaoke at Carlyle & Co. on 17 December 2022. The talented singers and dancers in our club added festivity to the Christmas celebration and we had a great time.
Zonta International 65th Convention
On 26 June 2022, we arranged a gathering for the Zonta International 65th Convention. The event started at 4:30 pm with a virtual meeting and ceremony via Zoom. Following the convention, we had a fellowship dinner at the Royal Garden Hotel, where we all dressed in orange to match the convention’s theme.
